Angelos brings a rich commercial experience which he has developed across several leading national and international oil and energy companies – bp, Petrobras, ADNOC. He has a passion for innovation and transformation – be that digital / corporate / cultural – as well as beyond commodity and disruptive business models.
Angelos is currently working on delivering the net zero ambition of bp with a focus on offshore wind energy.
In parallel, Angelos is very active in the entrepreneurial/start-up environment as a founder and mentor.
Angelos’ background is in behavioural economics, having completed his PhD with a focus on the relationship between the financial market and oil, and is a published author of the book ‘Spikes and Shocks’, as well as of various articles and publications. Angelos is one of the founders of the Greek Energy Forum.
