A Chemical Engineer by education, with a M.Sc. Degree from Imperial College in London, Stavros started his career in Shell in Greece in 1991.
Stavros was posted in Houston in 1999 with the task to establish Shell Marine Products Company in the US and then run it as a CEO. He returned to Europe in 2001 as a Commercial Manager for the Balkans region, followed by an appointment as General Manager for Global Key Accounts in 2004. In 2009, he moved on to become the General Manager for Shell Lubricants Business in South Europe and the Mediterranean, and the President of Shell Italia Oil Products, based in Milan.
Since January 2014 he is part of Shell Trading & Shipping global organisation, working as General Manager for Products Freight & Oil Specialties, based in London.
Stavros has served as a Board Member of various Shell OUs, as well as a Director of EPA Attikis, a Gas & Electricity company in Greece.
