Dear GEF Members and Friends,

We would like to inform you about an energy conference that will be taking place in Athens on the 16th of May, which is organised by the Energy and Sustainability Club of the of the Athens University of Economics and Business, with the support of the Greek Energy Forum. The conference will focus on the challenges on investments in the energy sector in Greece, and the crucial role of the industry in developing sustainable growth for the Greek economy.

The Members of the GEF are invited to attend this very interesting conference, which will feature speakers such as the Minister of Environment, Energy and Climatic Chang Prof. Yiannis Maniatis, and the Ambassador of Israel in Athens, Aryeh Mekel.

The conference will take place at the Royal Olympic Hotel (Athanasiou Diakou 28, Athens, Greece 117 43, Greece) from 17:45 until 20:30, and will be attended by business executives, entrepreneurs, policy officers, diplomats, academics and researchers from energy, construction, shipping and innovation sectors.

Please note that attendance is free but the available seats are limited. Therefore, in order to avoid disappointment, please register online by sending an email to imbaenergyclub@aueb.gr for registration.
